Heat shrink cable accessories provide electrical insulation, environmental sealing, stress control, and mechanical protection for power cables. How Is Cable Grounding Connected?

How Is Moisture Sealing Achieved?


Hot-melt adhesive is incorporated inside the sealing tube and anti-tracking insulation tube. During installation, the adhesive softens and forms a close-fitting seal around the cable components.

How Are 3-Core Cables Sealed?


For 3-core cables, an adhesive-coated breakout is installed over the cable cores and the end of the outer sheath. It seals and protects the cable crutch area, which is one of the most exposed areas of a multicore termination.

How Does the System Control Electrical Stress?


A yellow stress-relief mastic is applied around the end of the cable screen cut. The stress-control tube and stress-relief mastic work together to redistribute the electrical field and reduce electrical stress concentration at the cable end.

How Does It Prevent Tracking and Erosion?
